David Devonshire

David W. Devonshire has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Motorola, Inc. for the past five plus years until his announced retirement in 2007. In 2006 he was voted one of the top 100 financial executives by Treasury and Risk Magazine, and was voted one of the best CFOs for 2005, 2006, and 2007 by Institutional Investor.

Prior to Motorola, Mr. Devonshire served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Ingersoll-Rand Company for four years, and was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Owens Corning for five years. Mr. Devonshire also served as Corporate Vice President and Controller for Honeywell for two years before becoming the firm's Corporate Vice President of Finance in 1992. He previously was Corporate Controller for the Mead Corporation and served in various roles at Baxter International, Inc. He began his career at KPMG.

He currently serves as a Director for Arbitron Inc., ArvinMeritor Inc. and Roper Industries Inc. In addition he serves on the Advisory Board of CFO Magazine and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the John G. Shedd Aquarium. David previously served as a Director at Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly, SPS Spinco Inc.). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Widener University in Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
