Jon brings to Waterstone Management Group 15 years of experience working with Fortune 500 and emerging high-growth technology companies as a go-to-market- and operations-focused strategic advisor. His client experience and expertise spans a range of business and operating models including perpetual software license, software-as-a-service, managed services, outsourcing, and professional services. Jon’s advisory and operating experience is focused on developing new B2B and B2C offerings & pricing strategies, developing go-to-market capabilities, and driving operational effectiveness for enterprise software, electronics, telecom, and media & information management companies.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Jon was a Senior Consultant in the Strategy & Change Practice within IBM Business Consulting Services, with a specific focus on consumer electronics, telecom, and industrial clients. In this role, Jon helped build and execute services growth, transformation, and operations improvement strategies for major electronics, networking, and industrial clients such as Philips, Panasonic, Xerox, Avaya-Nortel, Caterpillar, several leading telecom providers, as well as IBM’s Telecom Services team. He also advised IBM executive leadership on the company’s organic and transactional growth strategy supporting new offering development targeted at SMB and midmarket customer segments.
Jon joined IBM through the acquisition of Mainspring Corporation, a high-growth consulting firm focused on the emerging intersection of business and technology strategy, and disruptive business models. Earlier in his career, Jon worked at a boutique telecom advisory firm focused on due diligence assessments for venture capital and private equity investors, as well as A.T. Kearney Strategic Services.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Cum Laude, from Princeton University.
