Jon brings a track record of successfully developing and implementing growth and operational strategies for application software, technology services, and telecommunications companies. Jon's client service background has been focused on identifying growth and margin improvement opportunities by combining competitive and customer insights, technology and operations expertise, and complex operating and profit models for companies at all stages of the business lifecycle. His expertise lies in developing improvement strategies with a closed loop approach of translating strategic decisions into process and organizational change.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Jon was a member of the Strategy & Change Practice within IBM Business Consulting Services. In this role, Jon successfully developed and executed business improvement strategies for Global 500 telecommunications, consumer electronics, media, and industrial clients. He also advised IBM executive leadership on organic and transactional growth strategies for new lines of business in the large enterprise and midmarket segments.
Jon joined IBM through the acquisition of Mainspring Corporation, a high-growth consulting firm focused on business and technology strategy. While at Mainspring, Jon worked with telecommunications, media, and financial services clients to develop new business and operating models subsequent to the emerging intersection of business and technology disruption. Earlier in his career, Jon was a strategy consultant at a boutique telecommunications consulting firm, and at A.T. Kearney.
Jon graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History from Princeton University. He resides in Chicago, where he is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
