Meredith Tierney
Associate
Meredith has experience in investment banking, portfolio management, and debt restructuring. Prior to completing her MBA, Meredith was an associate in Wachovia Securities’ Corporate and Investment Banking division where she worked alongside senior management to structure and execute financing transactions for middle market private equity firms, primarily to support mergers, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. At Wachovia she also gained experience in portfolio management evaluating debt and equity investments for a $1 billion structured fund. Meredith had previously been an analyst in Wachovia’s debt restructuring group where she performed valuation analysis in Chapter 11 cases, liquidations, and distressed sales.
Most recently, Meredith was a consultant for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. With engagements in both Washington D.C. and Rwanda, she worked on financial and strategic planning initiatives for public health programs across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Meredith holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
