Singu Srinivas

Singu brings to Waterstone Management Group nearly 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 and smaller, high growth technology companies as a strategic advisor, senior executive and founder. His experience and expertise spans the managed services, telecom, electronics, software-as-a-service, outsourcing and professional services industries. Most of Singu’s advisory and operating experience has centered on creating growth strategies, developing go-to-market capabilities and enhancing the operational effectiveness of B2B and B2C technology companies as well as the services arms of manufacturers, retailers and ISPs.
Most recently, Singu was General Manager and Vice President at Radialpoint, a $60M managed services provider of digital home offerings (security, online backup and premium tech support) sold thru Internet Service Providers. Singu managed the P&L of the company’s largest geographical segment, grew revenue 37% over 18 months and managed strategic relationships with Verizon, Bell Canada, Cox, OfficeMax and Windstream. Singu joined Radialpoint as a result of the acquisition of HiWired, a VC-backed start-up where Singu was CEO and Founder. HiWired provided white-labeled remote tech support services to consumers and small businesses sold thru ISPs, OEMs and retailers competing against Best Buy’s Geek Squad. Singu was nominated in 2007 as finalist as Emerging Executive of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.
Prior to HiWired, Singu was Director and Consulting Partner at IBM. While at IBM, Singu was Director of Strategy for IBM Global Services -- the outsourcing, maintenance, applications management and hosting lines of business. Singu’s other roles at IBM included Partner in IBM Strategy and Change consulting practice focusing on building and executing services growth and performance improvement strategies for major electronics companies. Singu joined IBM through the acquisition of Mainspring, a high-growth consulting firm focused on business and technology strategy. Singu’s clients at Mainspring and IBM included Philips, Kodak, Linksys/Cisco and Symbol Technologies as well as work done with internally with IBM’s semiconductor and global services business units.
Earlier in his career Singu held various consulting roles at Accenture and Deloitte Consulting. Singu holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Industrial Engineering from Stanford and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Boston University.
