Claire O'Neill

In her time at Waterstone, Claire has acted in a number of advisory roles for our clients, including providing financial and due diligence advisory services, developing new service offerings, business planning, and managing cross-functional work streams in executing initiatives. Claire has provided these services to clients in a range of industries, but has recently focused on software and services engagements. Representative examples of Claire's deep industry experience include the launch of a new premium tech services business within a national MSO, management of a post-merger integration program with a focus on organizational restructuring, and the transformation of a customer support offering portfolio for an enterprise software company.

Prior to Waterstone, Claire spent over four years at Chicago Partners (since acquired by Navigant Consulting), researching and providing analysis on intellectual property, antitrust, and valuation issues in support of expert witness testimony on economic damages. While at Chicago Partners, she provided economic consulting services to, among others, high-technology computer software, hardware, and medical device companies.

Claire holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Finance and a BA in Economics from Boston College. Claire also serves on the board of Chicago Training Center (CTC), a competitive rowing program creating new opportunities for underserved Chicago youth.
