Fixed, physical locations have become less important as a result of business model evolution.  It is important for companies to examine the idea of "place" in business processes; implementing some business processes based on an outdated understanding of "place" can cost a business money, resources, and even customer goodwill.  John Parkinson, Affiliate Partner, gives an example and talks through why companies should reconsider their fulfillment processes.
