Where's My Connected Car?



Despite the impressive gains in safety and economy, few car manufacturers (and no mass brands) have fully embraced the smart, connected vehicle paradigm. In his latest article for CFO Magazine, Affiliate Partner John Parkinson outlines the pressures that will change this, probably sooner rather than later, and shares his vision for what the smart, connected car of the future will be. While getting there won’t be easy and will require greater focus on the software, John believes that as soon as one manufacturer gets on board the digital platform, competitive pressures will drag everyone else along, or relegate them to niche status.
