Pavan helps advise clients on key strategic issues, including organic growth strategy, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, go-to-market strategy, and M&A due diligence. He has worked with clients in a number of industries, including technology, digital media, CPG, and telecommunications. Examples of Pavan’s recent experiences include identifying strategic growth opportunities for a cloud-based software company, conducting a customer assessment for a portal software company, and developing the pricing strategy for consumer services company.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Pavan worked at Stax Inc. on M&A due diligence projects that led to a number of acquisitions by private equity firms and companies. For example, he conducted market sizing and customer segmentation and identified future growth opportunities for an ERP company. Pavan spent several years working in the Strategy & Business Development Group at Cars.com where he helped increase revenue by 20 percent from new products. Prior to Cars.com, Pavan was a member of IBM’s Strategy & Change Practice where he helped a number of clients in organic growth strategy, performance measurement, and operational improvements.
Pavan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, a JD from Boston University, and a BS in Accounting from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
