Shawn helps advise clients on a range of topics including growth strategy, go-to-market strategy, strategic planning, and performance improvement. He has worked with clients primarily in the technology, media, and financial services industries. Recent examples of Shawn’s experience include helping a private equity firm and portfolio software company with pricing strategy and operational planning for the shift to subscription, assisting a global media software company form a JV-like strategic partnership and stand-up a new business, to developing the business model and product strategy for a digital advertising start-up, and helping a global CDN cloud service provider grow its channel sales business to 60% of total revenue.
Prior to joining Waterstone, Shawn worked for Accenture Strategy in the San Francisco office leading engagements for top Communications, Media, and Technology clients. He also spent many years in the technology industry in marketing, sales, and product functions.
Shawn holds an MBA from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with concentrations in Strategy and Finance and a BS from the University of Vermont.
