During his time at Waterstone, TJ has advised clients on new offering design and launch, product roadmap development, strategic pricing, behavior-based segmentation, new market entry, and organizational effectiveness. He has worked with leading hardware and software providers, consulting with internal strategy, product management, external marketing, and professional services teams.
Previously, TJ worked on venture capital investments in South Africa, microfinance institutions and agribusiness clusters in the Middle East, and consumer electronics marketing in Minneapolis. As a Senior Consultant with IBM’s Strategy and Transformation practice, he led financial, competitive, and operational analysis as well as the culminating process re-design for the e-commerce division of a major US retailer seeking to improve product development.
TJ holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Claremont McKenna College. TJ currently volunteers with Taproot Foundation, leading a pro bono consulting team for not-for-profit organizations.
